Expectations: Doubt, Joy and the God Who Cares is a two semester offering - four sessions each semester meeting once a month from 9:30-11:00 at the Abbey in the City (formerly on Lovers Lane) at 5923 Royal Lane.

When our expectations for life are thwarted, even people of faith can be left questioning. We will grapple with our own experiences of when life doesn’t always turn out like we expected…

Marcia Hotchkiss, Co-founder of The Abbey and Spiritual Director, will lead this offering. Marcia is the Program Director for The Abbey in the City and has created as well as facilitated many offerings.

Expectations meets on the first Monday of the month (September meeting is actually on August 31st) through December. New session starts again in February. Meetings are 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. in person at the Abbey in the City.
